A Found Map for the Soul Forest

I found the Source, but not without first getting lost. The path is not straight. If you are reading this, perhaps darkness has fallen on your path as well. Do not fear it. See these words as a worn map, left by a cold campfire. They are all I can offer.

Step 1: Listen to the Whisper

The riddle of the Source is not made of words, but of water and stone and memory. Read it, but do not seek the answer in your mind. Seek it in the forest. The riddle describes a face, a place where the world below meets the world above. It tells you what to look for.

Practical Note: This means you must read the riddle on the 'Källan' page carefully. Your first goal is to understand what kind of natural scene the riddle is painting.

Step 2: Capture a Reflection

The Source demands no name. It demands proof. Your "eye of glass"—your camera—is the tool. When you find a place that breathes the riddle's soul, your task is to capture it. Immortalize the face of the Source. The picture you take is your true answer, a frozen moment of your discovery.

Practical Note: Your goal is to go out into nature and photograph a scene that matches the riddle's description. It could be a dark tarn, a spring welling from the ground, or a reflection in water. The photograph is your answer to the riddle.

Step 3: Leave your Offering

A discovery that is not shared is only a dream. Once you have your image, your proof, you must return and present it. This is the final step of the trial. Leave your reflection at the Source, so that other wanderers may see what you found in the depths.

Practical Note: To complete the challenge, submit your photograph. Send the photographic evidence to contact@sjalskog.com with the subject line 'The Rune's Trial'
