Tide-Hewn Thrones
The quartz crystal sand of Uttakleiv devours the tide. Jagged monoliths pierce a bruised, overcast sky, framing the horizon in a bleak, panoramic sweep—a stark Själskog vista of total isolation. The air here does not enchant; it tastes of freezing brine, rusted iron, and decaying kelp.
No benevolent guardians watch this fjord. The ancient entities are marrow-starved remnants of a dead age. As the sea fog rolls over the scree, it warps the light, birthing misshapen, semi-translucent silhouettes that claw at the frost-heaved rocks. They are anomalies. To acknowledge them, to even glance at the currents of old power they ride, is enough to invite the Inquisition’s pyres.
