Into the Shadows of Hertsöträsk

I bought the Macro Zoom Lens almost a year ago but used it only twice. In those moments, macro photography felt dull as I struggled to find stories in the tiny world. It felt like aiming without a target, unsure if I wasted money on an expensive lens.
This summer, I embraced courage, vowing to practice macro photography more despite initial dread. I brought this lens for a reason and was determined to discover its magic. I researched the right settings, stepped outside my comfort zone, and let go of my ego, acknowledging my beginner status. It was okay if the shots weren't perfect; what mattered was that I dared to try.
With each use, I grew more adept at selecting settings that yielded better results, uncovering stories within the intricate landscapes of the macro world.
I hesitated with my Macro Lens, seeing it as just a small scene with one subject. But within that tiny frame lies a vast hidden landscape, brimming with mystery—perhaps even more than traditional landscape photography. As I practice and elevate my skills, the joy of discovery unfolds, revealing beauty in the small things.
